Sepulcro William Grierson
Aquí yacen los restos de William Grierson nacido en Bucklerhole, Mouswal, Dumfriesshire, Escocia, el 22 de julio 1792. Muere en Buenos Aires el 30 de enero 1847.
Casado con Catherine Kelton, nacida en Torthorwal, Dumfriesshire, Escocia, el 22 de mayo de 1791. Murió en Buenos Aires el 20 de mayo1876.
Ambos llegaron a Buenos Aires el 12 de agosto 1825 en la embarcación Symmetry of Scarborough. Formaron parte de la Primera Colonia Escocesa que vino a la Argentina.

Ya embarcado y en camino hacia Buenos Aires William escribe en su diario el 22 de mayo de 1825:
Must we bid you adieu? We will bear you in our breasts. We will look to the South. We will court your forms in distant climes. Our present children will prattle your names, and our future offspring shall learn your songs. When we have passed the Sun, when we have found that we may call a new heaven and a new earth, we will hold you in remembrance, and a third part of Earth’s circumference shall not separate you from us, even when there (if ever we get there) our friendship shall operate; our mutual correspondence will demonstrate that our reciprocal Love is immortal. But I must not indulge, such reveries, however delightful, may all end in illusion, it is now 10 at night and we are all abed.

James Grierson nació en Monte Grande, Provincia de Buenos Aires, el 4 de noviembre 1825. Murió en Buenos Aires el 26 de abril 1857.
Margaret Grierson nació en Kirkmahone, Dumfriesshire, Escocia, el 11 de mayo 1823. Se casó con Miguel Errecalde y murió en Buenos Aires el 2 de abril de 1888.
John Parish Robertson Grierson nació en Monte Grande, Provincia de Buenos Aires el 22 de noviembre 1827. Murió en su estancia “Bella Vista”, ubicada en la Provincia de Entre Ríos, el 27 de diciembre 1872. Se casó con Jane Duffy, que nació en Irlanda en 1832 y murió en Buenos Aires el 10 de diciembre de 1887. Ambos son los padres de Cecilia Grierson, Primera Doctor en Medicina Argentina, cuyos restos también descansan en esta tumba.
